Is there any short cut to losing weight?

I know to lose weight you've got to diet and exercise. It is the diet part I'm struggling with. I live to eat.

To eat less (consume less calories) or exercise more (burn more calories.) When you burn more calories than you consume, your body is forced to draw on its fat stores and burns fat for the energy it needs. As a result, you lose weight.

I know that but exercise is slow, and diet makes me feel deprived. That's why I'm fat.
