peppermint essential oil
With my oily skin, I love skin care products with peppermint oil. It has that cooling feeling and cuts through the grease very well. I even have a bottle of peppermint pure essential oil which I used to mix with kaolin and honey to make my own facial masks.
(You must be really careful mixing your own masks with essential oil as if you are sensitive to that oil, or use too much, you can get a nasty reaction. Better buy a mask that contains peppermint essential oil as one of its ingredients.

Personally, I use peppermint oil also for its insect repellent properties. I learnt these from a former colleague. I'd sprinkle a little in the kitchen for the fresh minty scent and to repel the insects that roam at night.
