A great way to get rid of underarm hair and leg hair is by using wax strips. I've used various brands. Veet's wax strips are okay. The one I have right now is the ready to use wax strips that is effective on short hair as well. You get these strips in Veet's waxing kit.

These are easy to use.
- After a shower, pat dry completely.
- Then separate a strip and stick it onto where you want your hair removed. Say, the underarms.
- Press it down, smoothing it in the direction of hair growth.
- Pull your skin back as you strip away the hair, pulling the wax strip in a quick sharp movement in the direction against your hair growth. Repeat as necessary until you've removed sufficient hair.
- Remove the wax from the skin with the towellettes provided, or if you run out of these towelletes, smear olive oil on your skin to dissolve the wax, tissue off the oil, then wash with soap and water.
- Stay away from deodorant for 48 hours or it would sting.

I find these strips too sticky. The wax sticks onto the skin and doesn't remove all the hair. Several attempts are required to remove most of it. It is rather messy. Still, at the hair is removed at the roots and regrowth would take weeks, so this is a long lasting solution.
