The latest kid on the block, where long lasting lipstick is concerned, boasts of lip color that lasts up to 16 hours. Its name : Infallible.

The secret lies in the revolutionary new 2-formula lipstick, the latest of which is the 2-click version.

1. The first click gives you the color. You apply the color on the lips and it stays on through your meals, does not feather and does not transfer to your cup or anywhere it shouldn't be
2. The second click delivers a colorless, anti-flaking lip balm which you can apply whenever your lips feel dry or whenever you need more shine. The color from the first click, stays on throughout.

Or you could get that in 2 tubes rather than a silver compact. The result of applying the color followed by the balm is the same.

Actually, the idea itself is not new. Decades ago, women already knew the secret of long lasting lipstick is all in the application. Originally, it was

Then came a primitive version of infallible lip duo. It came in compacts which you apply with a lip brush. The color is in a pressed powder that is creamy while the balm is a colorless lip balm. Apply the lip color like you might an eyeshadow, but over your lips. Then seal in the color with a lip balm. It lasted, though it smudged and transferred everywhere. I loved it, but it was discontinued after some time.

Now we have this, which is so much more convenient. You apply the color and balmd directly on your lips from the tube, and it lasts long enough to take you from day to night and it stays put on your lips. If you are looking for long lasting lip color get it because I don't think it can get any better than infallible.
