When it comes to removing hair on the arms and legs, I find epilators much more economical than waxing, and with much better results than shaving or using depilary creams. With shaving, you end up with stubbly legs if you neglect shaving. With an epilator, the hair is removed at the roots and you go hair free for weeks until the regrowth comes back.

The one I'm currently using is Braun silk-epil. The model is an old one I've had for years.. ten years at least, I think. In ten years, how many razor blades, tubes of depilary cream or packs of waxes would that be equivalent to?
Although an epilator seems expensive, in the long run, it certainly is value for money.

It is not for those who are afraid of pain. If waxing is painful to you, then forget about using an epilator. It plucks hair out by its roots. I'm used to it and actually find it as thereapeutic as a massage / exfoliation. My mom in law tried it and found it too painful for her liking. It is a matter of taste.
